This lightweight multi-purpose single jacket hose is durable and compact. Constructed of 100% spun polyester, INDUSTRALITE 500 is lined with TPU elastomer, and has a service test pressure rating of 250 PSIG (1750 kPa). Suitable for a variety of industiral applications, INDUSTRALITE 500 combines the benefits of a durable jacket with the handling ease of a space-saving lining.

INDUSTRALITE 500 specifications
The hose shall be of single jacket construction with 100% virgin filament polyester.
There shall be a minimum of 10.5 filler yarns per inch in the jacket.
The thickness of the lining shall be 0.015" minimum and it shall be constructed of extruded T.P.U. elastomer.
The hose service temperature range shall be -60 degrees F to 140 degrees F (-51 degrees C to 60 degrees C).
FM abrasion test of 3,000 cycles minimum and Taber abrasion test of 1,000 cycles minimum.
At 500 PSIG (3500 kPa), its elongation shall not exceed 10% of the initial hose length, it shall not warp more than 20 inches (51 cm) for all the sizes and it should not rise more than 7" (18 cm) for the 1 1/2" (38 mm) hose. The 2 1/2" hose (64 mm) should not rise more than 4" (102 mm) from the test table.
The hose shall not twist more than 7 turns for 1 1/2" hose (38 mm), no more than 3 1/2 turns for the 2 1/2" (64 mm) hose per 50 ft (15,2 m) while at 500 /PSIG (3500 kPa).
Minimum service test pressure of 250 PSIG (1750 kPa).
Minimum proof test pressure of 500 PSIG (3500 kPa).
Minimum straight burst test pressure of 750 PSIG (5200 kPa).
The hose while curved to a radius of 27" (69 cm) shall not burst at less than 300 PSIG (2100 kPa).

(c)(2)(i)
One hundred feet, or less, of 1 1/2-inch hose, with a nozzle capable of discharging water at 25 gallons or more per minute, may be substituted for a fire extinguisher rated not more than 2A in the designated area provided that the hose line can reach all points in the area.

If fire hose connections are not compatible with local firefighting equipment, the contractor shall provide adapters, or equivalent, to permit connections.

During demolition involving combustible materials, charged hose lines, supplied by hydrants, water tank trucks with pumps, or equivalent, shall be made available.
